Commune
@communeThe home base community for founders, makers, and builders.
Share what you are building. Post ideas, progress updates, questions, and shipped milestones to the main feed with seven post types built for builders. Every update also goes on your project page, so followers see a timeline of real progress instead of a pile of posts. Feedback comes from people who have shipped, and members can award each other for real effort rather than virality.
Launch to a crowd that cares. When a project is ready, schedule it into a weekly cohort on the Launchpad. Members upvote through the week using Gold or Diamonds, and the top projects earn a spot on the leaderboard. Diminishing returns mean no single voter can swing the result, so good projects win on merit, not on the size of your following. Launches, supporters, and results stay on the project page afterwards.
Find your people. Match with builders who share your interests and skip the cold-intro small talk. Earn badges for launching, supporting, and reviewing.
Get rewarded for participating. Quality posts, replies, and contributions earn XP and Gold. Levelling up unlocks longer posts, more images, and higher limits. Gold can be spent on awards, match swipes, and launch upvotes. Diamonds come from premium memberships and referrals and power larger boosts.
Commune is free to join, and the free plan covers building, sharing, and connecting. A premium membership adds higher limits and extra perks when you need them.
Whether you are sketching a first idea, shipping version twelve, or growing something that already pays the bills, this is where builders find their people.

Hey everyone, Tim here, maker of Commune. Most communities are a feed and nothing else. On Commune your posts, projects, launches, matches and reputation are connected. Post a milestone and it lands on your project page too, so a year of progress reads like a story. When you are ready, launch in a weekly cohort where the best project wins, not the loudest. Built for makers at every stage, from first idea to profitable product. Come build with us!

Hey everyone! I built Galaxy Movies to solve my own frustration with slow, ad-cluttered movie sites. I wanted an ultra-fast, zero-clutter app to find where to stream films, explore cast networks, and read instant AI summaries. Would love to get your feedback!

@secretstashSecretStash is a zero-knowledge secrets management platform for development teams.

Last year when I onboarded a new developer on the team I was managing, I quickly ran into a couple issues with the onboarding process. First, I realized our documentation was pretty bad and scarce, but if you are in software development, chances are yours is too. The second issue was environment setup. He started asking questions about which database connection he should be using and which API key he should be using for this service. Naturally, his next question, "can you send me your environment file in Slack?" This happened three or four more times. So in a ten-minute period we had dumped a couple hundred environment variables into our team's chat without really thinking twice about it. What made the situation worse were we discovered several credentials were out of date or no longer active, forcing the entire team to drop what they were doing and help our new developer get unblocked.
It was at this point I realized we needed to change. Our onboarding experience needed to get better, our documentation needed to get written, but most importantly, our security HAD to get better. That's why I came up with SecretStash.Slack, Teams, Jira, Linear, and Clickup are all collaboration tools. So as it turns out, my false sense of security that I get by using Slack or Teams is just that: a false sense of security. Any sensitive information that I share with a co-worker could still be compromised no matter the protocols or safeguards that are in place by myself, the company, or those IT guys.
When I went about building SecretStash, I wanted to take the approach of building something developers want to use because it fits into their workflow. Again, I know there are other solutions out there, but they are subject to unnecessary enterprise bloat and are built for cloud architects that manage infrastructure, not building the software.
I hope you enjoy this product and find it working for you and your organization.
